Aged Care Workforce Vocational Education and Training (ACWVET) Program

The Aged Care Workforce Vocational Education and Training (ACWVET) Program is a new funding initiative available for Aged Care Workers from the Department of Health and Ageing (DoHA).

The aim of the program is to provide opportunities for personal care workers to develop their skills in the industry and gain recognised qualifications, resulting in the improved quality of aged care.

Personal care workers who receive a funded placement to study one of the eligible courses will have all training costs covered, including tuition, books, materials and entry tests.

Participating Through Health Skills Australia

Health Skills Australia is a specialist educator in the field of health care and is one of the registered training organisations selected by the Federal Government to deliver the ACWVET program.
Fully funded placements are available in selected courses, however limited places are available.
