Applying to study at Health Skills Australia
If you're ready to apply, here are a few things you'll need to know.
Eligibility Criteria
Citizenship - You need to be an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, Special Category Visa holder (sub-class 444, NZ citizen), East Timorese Asylum Seeker or Temporary Protection Visa holder.
Proof of Identity - Photo ID clearly showing your date of birth is required i.e. licence or passport. A certified copy should be provided with your application; otherwise the original will need to be sighted at interview or orientation.
Police Check - All applicants are required to provide evidence of a recent Police check.
Working with Children Check - If you are studying Nursing or Mental Health, a Working with Children check / Blue Card is also required.
Literacy & Numeracy Test – Unless you have recently passed Year 12 English and Maths or a VETASSESS test, or hold a qualification higher than what you are applying for, successful completion of a Literacy & Numeracy test is required.
