At Health Skills Australia we are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of people in care by providing excellence in healthcare training. Established in 2005 and acquired by Navitas Limited in May 2010, we are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) recognised as a specialist educator in the field of healthcare.
Health Skills Australia offers training in a variety of modes including on-line, classroom and workplace based to ensure the maximum flexibility for our students. We are also approved by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council to deliver Division 2 (Enrolled) Nursing training and the post basic Medication Endorsement for Division 2 Nurses.
We operate in metropolitan, rural and regional Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland working with a variety of aged care, disability and acute care facilities, both large and small.
In addition to nationally accredited qualifications, Health Skills delivers a wide and ever increasing range of health specific short courses including but not limited to Medication Administration for Aged and Disability Care Workers. Infection Control, Wound Management, First Aid, Workplace Bullying and Harassment, Manual Handling, Occupational Health and Safety, Communication and Documentation.
