Fees & Funding

For all students, tuition fees are one of the largest costs associated with studying. You may also need to take into account other incidental expenses such as textbooks and a national police check if they are requirements of the course.

At Health Skills Australia, a government subsidy and/or VET Student Loan may be available to help you pay for your tuition fees, depending upon your eligibility and the course you choose.

Due to changes in legislation, VET Student Loans (VSL) will commence on 1 January 2017, replacing the current VET FEE‑HELP scheme.

  • VET Student Loans is a Commonwealth Government loan scheme that assists eligible students in eligible Diploma courses to pay all or part of their VET tuition fee. The eligible courses are listed on the VET Student Loans Approved Course List.  Please visit our VET Student Loans page for further information.

  • Subsidised training through the Certificate 3 Guarantee Program and Higher Level Skills Program to eligible individuals enrolled in Health Skills Australia’s  delivered from the  Brisbane campus. These are Queensland Government initiatives.
