Welcome to Health Skills Australia

As a new Health Skills Australia student, we’re excited to be meeting you at Enrolment and Orientation Day.

This day will finalise your enrolment and prepare you to commence study, plus familiarise you with our campus, services and staff.

Attendance at Orientation is compulsory. 

What to bring

Photo ID clearly showing your date of birth, i.e. Australian licence or passport

Evidence of your residency and citizenship, i.e. Australian birth certificate, passport or naturalisation certificate

Eftpos, Visa or MasterCard to pay the first instalment if you are using our payment plan (cash not accepted)

Your student log-in details

What to expect on the day:

  • Completion of your registration including certification of your ID, citizenship and residency, and creation of your student ID card
  • Learning about what to expect from your course and what you need to know about your learning journey, including assessments and competencies, clinical/practical placements (if applicable), policies and procedures
  • Meet the teaching and support staff and get to know other new students
  • Learn about the student services available to you, including online learning access and support, library and other resources, as well as student welfare and counselling
  • Discuss any specific learning support needs you may require to ensure you get the maximum outcomes and benefits from the course
  • Take a tour of the campus to familiarise yourself with the College
  • Receive text books (Nursing) and be measured for your uniform (where applicable)
